This version of the Turbo, first produced in 1980, was the first fully anatomical saddle and was considered a milestone in the history of Selle Italia and was the choice of top Tour de France riders at the time, such as Laurent Fignon. The Turbo is covered with the roughened faux leather known from Selle Italia.
