Made from revolutionary Alpha® fabrics by Polartec®, the Tokaido Alpha Neck Warmer is designed to adapt to the elements. Originally developed for U.S. Special Forces, Alpha® fabrics combine high-pile fibers with a firm mesh core for superior insulation that is lightweight, compressible and moisture-wicking. The Tokaido Alpha tubular scarf utilizes what Polartec® calls Air-Exchange technology, which wicks excess heat and moisture from your breath while preventing cold air from entering. This clever insulated cycling tube has a two-way design with laser-cut holes on one side for easy breathing through on climbs and full insulation on cold descents when worn inverted.
