In collaboration with the Fixed-Gear professionals from MASH SF in San Francisco, MKS has developed the Stream Wide Pedals – an evolution of the proven Sylvan Stream model. The key difference: the platform has been widened by a substantial 20 mm, offering noticeably more stability. Visually, the pedals make a clear statement: from the threaded spindle to the cage plates, they are entirely finished in deep black. For this striking look, a modern process was used – cathodic immersion coating. This not only provides an elegant surface but also reliably protects the pedals from weather influences and contributes to their durability.
The Stream Wide Pedals also impress with their functionality. The sharply cut tooth profile gives them not only a powerful design but also ensures excellent grip. Each cage plate is equipped with a Flip Tab, making it easy to quickly flip the pedal – ideal for catching the pedal hooks swiftly. The so-called Kickback Hook protrudes 13.5 mm but does not interfere with pedal use in any position.
