The Northmar is a high-performance mid-weight insulated vest perfect for use on its own or layered under one of our rain shells such as the Eiger or Styrman. It has a minimalist silhouette that performs equally well on daily commutes in the city, for multi-day travel, or for technical applications such as hiking, climbing, skiing, or cold-weather cycling.
The shell of the vest is made from a lightweight stretch fabric woven by Schoeller®. It has a matte finish with Nanosphere® water repellent (DWR) for use in drizzle and light rain. The Northmar is insulated with 80 gsm PrimaLoft® Gold. The Northmar : Vest has a tailored (but not tight) fit with two handwarmer pockets and one internal zippered keeper pocket. The back of the vest is slightly longer than the front for complete coverage during active pursuits.
