The H Plus SON Formation Face is a rim with a true "V" profile. With no stress points in the sidewall, the uniform triangular shape improves the lateral stiffness of the rim. The simple profile shape also saves weight as the distance between the bead hook and spoke bed is reduced. The Formation Face rim is made from G609 aluminum alloy, which is also 30 percent stronger than the 6061 aluminum alloy used in the manufacture of standard rims.
