The life of RESTRAP began in a back room in 2010, with a single sewing machine, founder Nathan made pedal straps, first for himself, then for his friends. As interest grew, so did RESTRAP, and Nathan branched out to develop the full range of bags, luggage and accessories available today. The back room quickly became too small and is history. Today, RESTRAP products are made in a large workshop in Leeds and behind RESTRAP is a cohesive team of seamstresses, designers, family and friends.

The RESTRAP team is proud of its Yorkshire roots and the landscape in which RESTRAP products and the brand itself find their inspiration. RESTRAP products are handmade using sustainable materials and local labor on world-class machinery. The RESTRAP team is made up of outdoor enthusiasts who, when they're not designing and sewing, are out putting their products through their paces in the field. They get their products as wet, muddy and punishing as possible so you can be sure that everything RESTRAP produces meets your high standards and provides you with an optimal user experience.

RESTRAP products are made locally. This enables the RESTRAP brand to be a truly sustainable and responsible company. RESTRAP has full control over all manufacturing and distribution processes.
